Drink More Water In The Studio

I did the run, but it was in the heat and humidity of the Nashville day. Running a 10k in 80-something degrees is terrible when I haven’t taken water intake very seriously. I get in the flow of things in the studio and drinking water hits the back burner. I think, “I’ll go grab a Spindrift from the fridge after I finish this one thing.” But that moment keeps getting pushed back. Time to get back on the habit.

A couple years ago I bought an app for around $5 called Waterminder. It tracks your hydration intake throughout the day and lets you set and reach daily goals. It’s time to start using it again religiously. With me trying to hit even longer runs this Summer, hydration is going to be a massive part of it. Here’s to the next run…
